Last Relaxer: March 27, 2010
I've done the BC (big chop) twice before. Both times, I was not in an area where people did natural hair and I had no idea what I wanted other than the cute, sexy TWA (teeny weeny afro). Both times, when I decided to grow my hair out, I hated the growing phase and the stage where I had no idea what to do with my hair.
For that reason, I was planning to transition with braids and keep them until my natural hair was three-four inches, and then begin the loc'ing process . . . but, I quickly tired of working with two textures and my scalp was pretty dry, so instead of braids, I decided to . . .
Big Chop: June 11, 2010
I hope to focus on healthy scalp, hair, and growth so that I can begin my locs by the end of this summer.
I am lovin' rockin' my TWA, especially in this hot, Texas, summer heat!
